“인생을 대하는 두 가지 자세” Two attitudes toward life Ephesians 5:7-21
Most people not only want their life to live a better life than others, but they also want to have a good influence on others and also want to live as a respected person. But everyone doesn't live that way. Contrary to what you decided to do, sometimes you see cases where you go in a direction you don't want. In order to live a better life than others, it is necessary to make good use of the 24 hours a day given to everyone through choice and concentration.
As we read the Bible today, we discover two important life paradigms.
The first is the life of those who consume life in vain. In today's Bible, this kind of person is expressed as the sleeping or the dead in verse 14. it is said that he is an unwise person, In verse 15, and he says that he is a person who spends, years (a person who misses the opportunity), in verse 16. Verse 17 says that he is a fool, and v. 18 says he is a drunken and prodigal life.
All of these people are people who lose their God-given opportunities, waste their time, and live for their own enjoyment. These people are supposed to be spiritually dead. Because, they are living the lives of those who do not know God.
On the other hand, the Bible says about the life God wants. Verse 14 says that they are those who are reflected by Christ, and that they are wise people who know how to please God, those who use opportunities well, those who understand God's will, and those who are filled with the Holy Spirit. You can see that all these ways of life are a form of life that pleases God by making good use of opportunities at the same time given to them in their relationship with God. What are we spending the most time on? Through the time invested, it will appear as the fruit of that person's life.
Mattew 7:18"A good tree cannot produce bad fruit, nor can a bad tree produce good fruit.
7:19"Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.
7:20"So then, you will know them by their fruits.
7:21"Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven; but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven.
Today's words in verses 19 to 21 describe the life of people who use these times well.
1. According to the words in verse19, it refers to those who live a life of praising God every day. Praise pleases God. It is an act of giving our time and heart to God. The evil spirit leaves and you experience the presence of God.
2. Verse 20 says to be a person who is grateful in everything. Instead of thinking of resentment and complaining, I should be grateful to believe in God who is with me, protects me, and guides my way with the saving grace that God has given me.
3. Verse 21 tells us to obey one another in awe of Christ. The Bible teaches that obedience is better than sacrifice. Having an obedient heart pleases God. The heart to disobey and the heart to rebel are the heart that the devil brings to us.
엡 2:2in which you formerly walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, of the spirit that is now working in the sons of disobedience.
May God obey what He wants us to say through the Holy Spirit today.
